Capacity’s Programme for highly qualified people with refugee or migrant background who are looking for a job in Switzerland

Why is this investment worthwhile for participants?

The Access Fast Track Programme is a powerful investment in your long-term professional future in Switzerland. It helps you overcome the barriers internationally trained professionals often face and gives you what you cannot access alone: workshops, personalised coaching, direct exposure to employers, targeted strategies, and a strong community.

You benefit from:

  • Faster access to qualified jobs: Around 50% of alumni find work within six months, and up to 60% within two years — at their skill level
  • Direct access to employers and key networks: You meet established professionals, hiring managers, HR experts and industry professionals who offer insights, coaching and networking that open doors
  • 1:1 guidance: Talent Coaches help you strengthen your strategy
  • A supportive community: You grow within a caring peer and professional network
  • A high return on investment: Your CHF 500 fee is only a small share of the programme’s true value. The largest share is covered by partner organisations, foundations, and funding contributions. Most graduates recover this investment with their first month’s salary

This programme is not just training — it is a proven stepping stone toward financial independence, professional belonging and a sustainable career in Switzerland.

What’s important to us:
No one should be excluded for financial reasons. If the participation fee is currently a challenge for you, please contact us – we will work together to find a solution so you can take part in the programme.

Jobseekers supported since 2022

One in every two participants finds a job aligned with their qualifications within the first 6 months after programme completion.

After 2 years, 60% have found a job that matches their qualifications and 80% have achieved a sustainable pathway such as employment, self-employment, or further education.

Why is this investment worthwhile for social services?

Supporting a client’s participation is a cost-effective, high-impact integration measure that strengthens long-term employment and reduces future social assistance needs.

Social services benefit from:

  • Proven labour-market results: Around 50% of participants enter qualified employment within six months, rising to 60% within two years
  • Significant public cost savings: Stable employment quickly offsets the contribution through reduced long-term social assistance and support costs
  • Alignment with IAS/KIP goals: The programme directly fulfils federal priorities for sustainable employment and equal labour-market access for refugees and migrants
  • Improved well-being and stability: Participants gain networks, confidence, and a sense of belonging — reducing vulnerability and increasing long-term resilience.

Thanks to strong co-financing from companies, public institutions, foundations, and other supporters, social services cover only a portion of the total programme cost, making this a highly efficient integration measure. Social Services representatives, please contact Caterina Meier-Pfister for more information.
